We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the UK/EU Chief Risk Officers and ERM Senior Actuary in developing and implementing the Travelers Europe Risk Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Risk and Control Owners to develop and embed the Travelers Europe Risk Management Framework in business units.
- Work with experts from Actuarial, Catastrophe Aggregation, Compliance/Legal, and Corporate Audit teams to develop risk mitigation and resilience strategies.
- Develop and deliver value-added model validation and review of capital modeling capabilities.
- Assist with fulfilling regulatory requirements and consistently applying the Risk Management Framework.
- Provide advice, guidance, and challenge to key internal stakeholders and produce reports suitable for external parties.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage and contribute to risk projects.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a numerate subject, with a focus on risk management or a related field.
- Insurance industry experience, with a focus on risk management and control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
