The Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Outreach Officer – Kicks to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Premier League Kicks programme across designated sites in Manchester.

The successful candidate will work closely with community partners and local authorities to develop and implement an innovative approach to engaging young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of coaches to deliver a weekly inclusive Kicks programme engaging participants across various ages, social backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, local authorities, external funders, and internal partners to drive programme growth and development.
  • Report on set outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with the Premier League Kicks programme.
  • Quality assure the programme, ensuring venues, session structure, and curriculums are regularly reviewed and improved.
  • Regularly review individual performances within the team, providing feedback and identifying training opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Understanding of City in the Community Foundation's projects and strategy.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of coaching community-based programmes, specifically youth work sports programmes.
  • Solid experience working in community organisations, facility partners, local government departments, and external funding partners.
  • Experience managing a team and representing a brand environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Creative and passionate about continuous improvement.
  • Resilient and adaptable to change.
  • GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science.
  • Hold a full clean driver's license.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Location

This role is based in Manchester, with regular travel to designated sites required.
