Business Development Manager - Liquid Waste

Key Responsibilities:

Drive profitable new business growth by exploring the potential market for collecting and transporting waste liquid.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Develop and manage a detailed new business pipeline to provide a clear business forecast of expected volumes and over-achieving on targeted new business sales revenues.
• Work closely with the General Manager tankers to drive a growth strategy aligned with the needs of the business.
• Accurately maintain data within the CRM platform.
• Liaise regularly with other commercial functions to share pipelines and best practices.

Requirements:

• General knowledge of the waste sector and ideally experience of selling Liquid Waste services.
• Experience of successfully developing, managing and implementing new business services.
• Experience of building and maintaining customer relationships.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional with a background in the Liquid Waste sector to join a forward-thinking industry leader. However, applications will also be welcomed from sales professionals who have sold General Waste services but are wishing to diversify and develop new knowledge and skills in a waste specialism.
