Job Title: Deputy Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic practitioner to lead our colorectal surgery theatres. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a keen interest in improving and developing their leadership skills to enable management of staff, be an effective role model demonstrating high levels of clinical competence & expertise by leading by example.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of patient-focused care in accordance with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust policies and procedures.
  • Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring accurate written records are kept.
  • Demonstrate personal responsibility for compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or ODP with current HCP registration.
  • Evidence of continued educational and professional development.
