Role Overview

Cygnet Health Care is looking for a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be supporting adults across three wards to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver individualized care plans in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team
  • Implement therapeutic activities under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Support the Head of Occupational Therapy in day-to-day duties and running of the department
  • Deliver one-to-one and group interventions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives within the team

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy or related field (essential)
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults or children (desired)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
