About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit. As a Diagnostic Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and executing preventive and corrective actions across the IDS product range in NHS and private microbiology labs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Commissioning & installation of instruments to agreed timescales and product specifications.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to agreed schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and high Net Promoter Scores by contributing to the team vision of short response times and high uptime of instruments in order to meet SLAs.
  • Produce timely, detailed and accurate service reports via an iPad-based App.
  • Manage consignment and car stock inventory optimally to achieve accuracy and accurate stock levels.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have an electro-mechanical/electronic engineering background with good fault-finding skills and proven IT/Networks skills. You will also be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills and flexible in your approach to work to deliver solutions to our customers.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, plus a 10% annual bonus, company car options, medical cover, private pension, and further benefits.
