  • We are seeking a technically motivated and customer-focused Diagnostic Systems Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems, utilised within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments.

This role involves visiting customer sites and providing customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting, as well as liaising with external customer contacts, including laboratory managers and laboratory technicians from within the NHS and private independent scientific organisations and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintenance of diagnostic systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of complex technical issues.
  • Liaising with customers and internal teams to provide effective solutions.

Requirements

">
  • A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high-value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
  • Experience of working on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre-press, printing or high-value electronic/electro-mechanical capital equipment is highly desirable.
