Purchasing Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Newry. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting the Indirect Category Manager in procuring all necessary items for our organization.

**Job Description:**
- Assist the Indirect Category Manager in ordering materials and managing suppliers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to minimize the risk of interruption to supply and ensure timely communication at all times.
- Develop skills and knowledge through participation in meetings with other buyers and suppliers.

**Requirements:**
- At least 3 years' work experience in an office-based environment with a keen interest in procurement.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £38,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, based in Newry.
