Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team at a brand new eye clinic in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive environment.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have registration as a General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with current NMC/ODP registration and a qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri-operative care. Previous experience in an Ophthalmology Theatre is essential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance in the operating theatre.
- Participate in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway.
- Deliver peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite.
- Ensure excellent patient care at all times.
