Senior Housekeeper Opportunity in Milton Keynes

Excelcare Holdings, a family-owned care home group with over 34 years of experience, is seeking an exceptional Senior Housekeeper to join their compassionate and welcoming team at The Willows Care Home in Great Linford, Milton Keynes.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated housekeeping team and contribute to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for residents. As a Senior Housekeeper, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting the team, ensuring that bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.

  • Schedule Management: Create and manage cleaning rotas, considering holidays booked and ensuring adequate team members are always on site.
  • Deep Cleans: Organize and plan deep cleans on a rota basis, including floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, and walls.
  • Cleaning Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment is safely used and kept in good working condition.
  • Infection Control: Comply with COSHH and Infection Control Regulations.

You will work closely with the team as and when required to complete tasks, coach and mentor them to ensure they have the necessary tools and training to excel in their roles.
