Personalised Learning Mentor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outreach Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As an Outreach Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to young people who are not attending school in or around Chelmsford.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You will be responsible for creating and delivering tailored lessons that cater to the unique needs of each pupil, helping to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
Job Overview:- Deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people not attending school
- Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans to meet the needs of each pupil
- Monitor progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful outcomes
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 6 months' experience working in a UK school
- Safeguarding training (desired but not necessary)
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional references from previous roles
