About the Role

New Way Tuition Ltd is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Outreach Tutor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering students to excel in their educational journey.

This is a deeply rewarding role involving one-to-one and group sessions in subjects including basic Maths, English, PSHE, interventions, and mentoring, conducted at pupils' homes, local libraries, and schools. We require someone with a strong understanding of Literacy and Maths, alongside experience working with children, including those with SEND. A current Enhanced DBS is essential.

  1. Providing personalised academic support in subjects like English, Maths, and more.
  2. Building meaningful connections with students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Implementing creative teaching strategies that engage and inspire our diverse learners.
  4. Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality tuition to students in various subjects.
  • To establish positive relationships with students, families, and other stakeholders.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of effective learning plans.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children of diverse ages and abilities.
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of our learners.
