Pension Administration Specialist

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is seeking a highly skilled Pension Administration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Payroll and Pensions department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of pensioner payrolls for our clients.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in pension administration. You will work closely with our client teams to deliver high-quality services and ensure compliance with agreed procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the pensioner payroll process for client payrolls in line with procedures.
- Be responsible for a portfolio of payrolls to process from start to finish.
- Ensure payroll changes are recorded correctly on the work management system and processed according to agreed procedures.
- Reconciliation of payroll costs and changes against Pensions Admin System.
- Ensuring PAYE for pension schemes is paid within deadlines.
- Production and distribution of P60s (including online P60s).
- Ensure compliance with agreed payroll deadlines and escalate any payrolls that are falling behind deadlines.
- Support Payroll Team on payroll matters.
- Maintain payroll and ancillary systems.
- Provide assistance with ad-hoc payroll projects such as setting up payrolls for new clients and managing transitions to other payroll systems (exits).
Requirements
- Experience of Payroll, preferably Pensioner but not essential.
- Reconciliation of payroll, essential.
