Job Summary

This is a key leadership role within the Clinical Education Team, responsible for delivering high-quality education and training programs to support the development of clinical skills and knowledge across the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of clinical education programs, ensuring they meet the needs of learners and the organization.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to identify training needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Collaborate with other education teams to ensure consistency and quality of education programs.
  • Line manage and support junior members of the education team.
  • Contribute to the development of education policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration.
  • BSc in nursing or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching/assessment qualification.
  • Experience of training/working in education.
  • Masters Level Education or working towards.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • PgC Medical Education.
  • Experience of delivering Professional Education and Development or Talent for Care Related Projects.
  • Experience of working independently and as part of a ward/team.
  • Experience of supervision/management of a clinical team.
  • Experience of working with learners undertaking Apprenticeships.
