Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of clinical skills training programs, ensuring they are aligned with trust and national standards.
  • Work closely with ward and department managers to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Support and advise managers on training and development opportunities for their teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Line manage and support junior members of the education team.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • NMC/HCPC registration.
  • A BSc in nursing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching/assessment qualification.
  • Experience of training/working in education.
  • Masters-level education or working towards.

Desirable qualifications include a PgC in Medical Education and experience of working with learners undertaking Apprenticeships.
