Job Summary

This is a key leadership role within the Clinical Education Team, responsible for delivering high-quality education and training programs to support the development of clinical skills and knowledge across the organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • To lead the development and delivery of clinical education programs, ensuring they meet the needs of learners and align with organizational objectives.
  • To work closely with senior education team members to review and improve standards of training, program content, and pastoral support for learners.
  • To support and advise ward, department, and service line managers in identifying appropriate training programs to meet the needs of their service.
  • To ensure that training provided internally meets the needs of the service, is in line with best practice, and that completion of training is recorded along with any competency assessments as required.
  • To line manage and support junior members of the practice education team.
