Established as a leader in delivering high-quality patient care, the Clinical Lead Pharmacist - Surgical Services plays a pivotal role within our team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled clinical pharmacist to lead our surgical services, ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines for patients undergoing elective admission. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for reviewing patients' medication regimens to optimize their treatment plans.

As a clinical leader, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement advanced specialist clinical pharmacy services for the pre-operative assessment clinic (POAC) and surgical Clinical Service Lines. This includes participation in cross-specialty MDT discussions, providing expert advice on pre-operative assessment and surgery, and supporting the development of policies and guidelines related to pharmaceutical care.

In this key position, you will also contribute to the leadership and supervision of junior pharmacists and technicians, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
