Warehouse Operations Manager

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Warehouse Team Leader to join their team in Bolton. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:- Coaching and developing employees to achieve their full potential
- Conducting investigations into accidents and incidents
- Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
- Supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing the warehouse team to optimize productivity and efficiency
- Planning and organizing warehouse functions to meet business needs
- Supporting the implementation of operational and logistics policies and procedures
- Good secondary education or equivalent
- Experience in a management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- People management skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of SAP and hand-held scanner systems
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and management, with experience in leading teams and implementing process improvements.
