Learning and Development Manager

Cactus Search is delighted to be working with a new client that is recruiting for a Learning and Development Manager for its L&D and HR function.

Job Summary

The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible and accountable for business-wide learning and development, delivering high-quality coaching, resources, and support to enable effective knowledge sharing, optimum team performance, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development of the company-wide L&D and HR strategies
  2. Identify development needs and knowledge gaps across the business
  3. Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to support employee growth and development
  4. Ensure coaching and training reflects the priorities of the business
  5. Provide feedback and support to employees to aid progression and employee satisfaction
  6. Work closely with Team Managers and Department Heads to build a culture of coaching and personal development
  7. Support the Head of Operations & HR with HR administration as part of the role
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in training or learning & development role
  2. Confident speaker in group settings and strong presentation skills
  3. Ability to create inspiring training material with assessments to test success
  4. Prioritisation skills to manage the broad scope of learning and development areas in line with business goals
  5. Embrace and adapt quickly to change and be a strong team player
  6. High standard of written and oral communication, including excellent grammar
  7. Energetic and positive attitude, with a creative approach to team motivation
