Support Staff for SEN Pupils

Job Summary:
We are seeking a committed GCSE Learning Support Worker to join our client's team in Havering. In this role, you will provide essential support to students with special educational needs, contributing to their academic progress and personal growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Offer tailored 1:1 and small group support to SEN students
- Design and deliver targeted interventions to improve learning outcomes in core subjects
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop effective strategies for behaviour management
- Support students' overall development, both within and beyond the classroom
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a strong academic qualification, ideally a 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a respected UK university
- Have proven experience in teaching core subjects
- Be familiar with supporting students with special educational needs
- Demonstrate confidence in managing challenging behaviours
- A commitment to creating engaging and structured learning environments
