SEN Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced teacher with a proven track record of exemplary practice to join our team as SEN Coordinator - Inclusion Manager.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will lead all areas of inclusion, promoting inclusive practice and enhancing the development of Social, Emotional, Mental Health, and Well-Being across the whole school.
This role will involve developing the school's strong SEND provision, supporting the needs of SEN children, and providing guidance to staff in enabling pupils to make progress.
The successful candidate will have experience in day-to-day line management of Teaching Assistants and possess a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum and Assessment.
A commitment to raising standards and ongoing school improvement is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, pupils, parents, and outside professionals.

As an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and supporting the effective professional practice of others.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement inclusive practices to enhance student outcomes
- Lead the development of the school's SEND provision
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff on inclusive practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity
- Experience in SENCO or similar role
- Proven track record of improving student outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
