Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Education Support Specialist to join our team. As an SEN Education Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing tuition sessions to students with special educational needs.

You will be responsible for delivering lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs, building strong rapport with the child, and adapting your approach as necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tuition sessions to students with special educational needs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the support network to ensure seamless provision.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in special education and adapt approaches accordingly.

Requirements

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of settings.
  • Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS (subject to screening).
