Cygnet Hospital Woking is a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in a purpose-built therapeutic environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weekend Evening Front Desk Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, providing a professional and welcoming front desk experience.

The ideal candidate will work 12 hours per week, every Saturday and Sunday, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, in a fast-paced hospital setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a professional, welcoming front desk experience
  • Greeting visitors and staff, maintaining security procedures, and effectively utilizing the hospital switchboard
  • Ensuring visitors sign in and out, and patients leaving and returning are recorded appropriately
  • Answering and transferring incoming calls, taking messages as needed
  • Sorting and distributing mail, and assisting with general office duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area
  • Promoting the safety and security of all site users, ensuring all staff comply with security protocols

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a front desk associate or receptionist
  • Organized, naturally helpful, and skilled at multitasking
  • Computer literate, including Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledgeable of telephone systems
  • Polite, friendly, and approachable, with excellent communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English qualified, with a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Diligent and accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality
