Nurse Care Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to work in a dynamic nursing home environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents with dementia, learning disabilities, or sensory impairment. As a key member of the care team, you will be expected to lead by example, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a person in charge, standing in for the Manager where required
- Ensuring high standards of care are provided to residents
- Leading the care team during shifts, ensuring that residents' medical, physical, and emotional requirements are met
- Mentoring and motivating colleagues to ensure effective running of the home
- Championing residents' safety and dignity, driving continuous improvement within the service
- Undertaking nursing tasks, such as distributing medication, dressings, catheterisations, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions
- Liaising with health and social care professionals to maintain a holistic approach to care and well-being
- Promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity by delivering the best standards of care
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively within a team as well as independently. A can-do attitude and ability to demonstrate initiative and adaptability are essential for this role.
We offer a competitive salary of £18.50 per hour, with the annual salary up to £42,328 per annum. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including:
