Social Work Practice Lead

About the PositionThis is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of Children and Families Social Work services.
We are seeking an experienced social work manager with extensive management experience in complex organisations to provide leadership, vision, and direction in the delivery of functional areas of responsibility.
The successful candidate will assist the Head of Children and Justice Services and the Senior Service Manager to manage and develop Children and Families Social Work services.
We are looking for a strong and inspirational leader who can empower practitioners to create a lasting difference for our children, individuals, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing effective financial controls and ensuring best value for the Council
- Developing and maintaining appropriate systems of communication and consultation
- Leading partnership working and change in a complex public sector environment
Requirements:
- Registered Social Worker (relevant degree level qualification or equivalent) with the Scottish Social Services Council
- A management qualification is desirable
Salary: £67,251 - £73,425 per year
