Job Title: Freight Operations Administrator

Company Overview:

Our client, Freight Personnel Careers, is a reputable Freight forwarding company operating in Northern and Southern Ireland. They specialize in Freight, Transport, and Distribution services and are seeking a skilled individual to join their team as an Internal Sales and General Administration support.

Job Summary:

This role is designed to provide administrative and sales support to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with existing clients, responding to inquiries, and preparing quotations for potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients and actively seek new opportunities for business growth.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide product information, and prepare quotations for potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage the Managing Director's calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Handle correspondence, both internal and external, in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Freight, Transport, Distribution experience.
  • Strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
