We are seeking an experienced Company Secretarial Assistant Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of high-quality company secretarial services to a variety of clients in line with billable hours and recovery rate targets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of company secretarial practices and procedures.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is competitive, with a base salary of approximately £55,000 per annum, plus performance bonus scheme and other benefits.

Job Description

As a Company Secretarial Assistant Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality company secretarial services to clients;
  • Following operational processes to ensure financial hygiene, effective document management, and data-driven decision making;
  • Developing and implementing personal development plans to increase services provided and progression through the UK CSS career path;
  • Line managing team members, undertaking performance management and appraisals;
  • Providing feedback on work produced and answering queries by junior team members to maintain quality service delivery to clients;
  • Undertaking health checks of statutory records and reconstituting records where required;
  • Drafting non-financial disclosures of Annual Reports, including preparation of annual general meetings and general meetings;
  • Providing support in developing processes and procedures within the UK CSS team;
  • Ensuring up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, horizon scanning for upcoming changes, and identifying new areas of business.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Management experience;
  • Business Development/relationship management experience;
  • A commercial and practical outlook;
  • An attractive remuneration package, including a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, performance bonus scheme, and generous pension contribution.
