Contract Management Specialist

AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Contract Management Specialist to join its team in RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and professional development.
Salary: £38,000 per annum, with the possibility of up to £42,000 based on experience and performance.
About the RoleThe Customer Contracts Specialist will be responsible for managing and implementing customer contracts processes. This will involve working closely with programme stakeholders to advise on changes and ensure compliance with AWE's processes. The ideal candidate will have relevant business qualifications or equivalent experience and commercial acumen, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse data in business systems to prepare reports on performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to bids, change control, costing, and pricing.
- Review bids regularly to ensure they meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Escalate potential threats to customer contracts and support issue resolution and escalation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of customer contracts processes.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant business qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Commercial acumen and experience of customer-facing negotiation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of using benchmarking techniques and analysing financial and business data.
