Senior Incident Management Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Incident Management Specialist to join our team at AWE Plc. As a key member of our Environment, Safety, Health function, you will play a vital role in supporting continuous improvement through the effective management, coordination, measurement, and analysis of accidents/incidents occurring on AWE sites.
Key Responsibilities- Sustainability: Support the maintenance of the AWE Incident Investigation Management processes, procedures, and their effective implementation across AWE.
- Data Analysis: Support the reporting, data analysis and training requirements for the AWE Incident Investigation Management process.
- Personal Standards: Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, and be a great team player.
- Investigations: Deliver Incident Investigations across all areas of the AWE business in line with the AWE Incident Investigation Management process.
- Performance Monitoring: Support effective delivery of governance, monitoring analysis and reporting of AWE Incident Investigation Management performance across the business.

To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Formal Environment, Safety, Health, Quality, Security, and Investigation Training: Alternatively, relevant qualifications or experience will be considered.
- Analytical and Coaching Skills: Strong ability to scrutinise, analyse, and interpret large volumes of data using various tools and techniques.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
- Data Interpretation Skills: Competence in writing and presenting management reports.
- Experience in Investigation and Inspection Processes: A proven track record in investigating incidents and providing insightful recommendations.
