Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to families and young people in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to families and young people in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and community settings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement individual plans with young people and families based on effective assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of people, including families, young people, and colleagues.
  • Chair meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Deliver one-to-one interventions and group-based interventions.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people aged 0-19.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience of working effectively with families who have complex needs or are at risk of becoming a child in care.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
  • IT skills sufficient to produce data, information, and reports using Microsoft Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and email.

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will be required to work evenings and weekends as required. The post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.
