Family Support Worker

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a strong reputation for delivering excellent services, has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Family Support Worker (SEND) to work in Walsall, West Midlands.
The Role:
As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering an integrated whole-family approach to families with children and young people aged 0 to 19. You will support those presenting multiple complex needs that cannot be effectively met by a single agency in a universal setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to children and young people at risk of requiring specialist interventions or becoming looked after by the Local Authority.
- Contribute to the safeguarding of children and young people by engaging in multi-agency plans, promptly identifying risks and vulnerabilities, and making necessary referrals to relevant Children's Social Care Services or other appropriate agencies.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of children and families within the borough, utilizing evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions.
- Develop and deliver time-limited individual or group work programmes of support tailored to the unique needs of families.
- Support the overall vision, ethos, and objectives of Walsall Children's Services and the Locality Hubs.
- Carry out various tasks as identified and allocated by the Senior Family Support Team Manager or Group Manager.

- Qualifications: Not specified.
- Experience: Proven experience in working with children, young people, and families facing complex challenges.
- Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 x references.
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- Hours: 37 hours per week.
