Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Court Social Worker to join our team. As a Court Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with vulnerable adults and children, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality social work services to clients, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Work closely with other professionals, such as lawyers, police officers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community groups to promote trust and understanding.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to identify the needs of clients and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • You must be a qualified social worker with experience working in a court setting.
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • You should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and be comfortable with the demands of a fast-paced environment.
  • You should have a good understanding of the law and policy relevant to social work practice, including child protection and adult safeguarding.
  • You should be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
