We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Residential Care Worker Specialist at our specialist residential home in Hampshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide care and support to vulnerable young people, promoting their wellbeing and development.


In this role, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver person-centred care and support, ensuring the individual needs of each child are met. You will also have the opportunity to engage in activities that promote the children's wellbeing and development.


The successful candidate will work a shift pattern of alternate weekends with a mixture of early and late shifts and sleep-in duties. We offer flexible working requests and a thorough induction programme, including mandatory training, for all new staff members.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be emotionally intelligent, resilient, and passionate about helping children. Experience working with children or young people in a residential or secure setting is desirable but not essential.


This role requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure and Safeguarding Check. We are a Disability Confident Employer, committed to an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.


Our residential home is easily commutable from Winchester, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, and Fareham. Working hours are 37 hours per week, with a permanent contract. The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
