We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team at Top Talent Recruit. This role will be based in Colchester and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in the logistics industry.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

In this role, you will perform a range of administrative tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, and organizing documents. You will also be responsible for running multimodal shipments from start to finish, which includes liaising with agents, bill of lading preparation, clearance instructions, deliveries, and special requirements.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with office management tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory. You will also be required to answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is organized, has strong communication skills, and is able to multitask effectively. If you have experience in the shipping industry, preferably within a freight forwarder, and possess knowledge of import/export sea and air, then we would like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the shipping industry, strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and the ability to learn new software quickly. They will also have excellent organizational skills, strong phone etiquette, and attention to detail.
