This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Education Recruitment Group, highly respected within the education sector. Our team is headed up by industry leaders who have established an enviable reputation amongst clients and candidates, making us the agency of choice.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be involved in the full recruitment cycle, recruiting professional education staff and teachers into Primary, Secondary, or SEN schools within a local territory. First-class customer service is as important as sales and business development, and you will receive training and support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement an achievable annual desk business plan with the Branch Manager.
  • Ensure overall achievement of monthly and annual targets while working within defined business policies.
  • Continuously increase daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and sales activity to see year-on-year growth of sales revenue and ensure profit.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and their actions.

Candidate Management:

  • Identify and anticipate candidate requirements on your desk, resourcing relevant candidates for clients and forward planning to ensure enough candidates of various disciplines to support desk needs.
  • Communicate with clients via surveys, mailshots, and business/relationship calls to identify current and anticipated needs and take action through advertising, social media, and the contacting current company database.

Compliance, Processes, and Systems:

  • Ensure full compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively deliver the company's processes and systems.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Legislation, ensuring full compliance of Safeguarding, DBS, and all relevant Legislation.

Personal Specification:

  • Work unsupervised while maintaining an appearance suitable to represent the business.
  • Effectively multitask, prioritize a busy and demanding workload, and work towards and within deadlines.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, working collaboratively and in the spirit of the Company and your position.
  • Be self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Be proactive and commercially astute.
  • Possess excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the education market, including regulated requirements within this market, such as Safeguarding and DBS policy and procedures.
  • Have a background of working within a sales and customer services environment, with an outstanding ability to build customer relationships.
