About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Anna Maher Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting professional education staff and teachers into Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools within a local territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Client Management
    • Work with the Branch Manager to implement an achievable annual desk business plan.
    • Ensure overall achievement of monthly and annual targets while adhering to defined business policies.
    • Continuously increase daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and sales activity to drive year-on-year growth of sales revenue and ensure profit.
    • Ensure all agreed rates with clients are correctly recorded and any other requests from clients are implemented.
    • Maintain awareness of competitors and their actions.
  • Candidate Management
    • Continuously identify and anticipate candidate requirements on your desk. Resourcing relevant candidates for clients and forward planning to ensure enough candidates of various disciplines to support desk needs.
    • Through communication with clients via surveys, mailshots, and business/relationship calls, identify their current and anticipated needs and take action through advertising, social media, and the contacting current company database.
  • Compliance, Processes, and Systems
    • Ensure full compliance with Company policies and procedures.
    • Effectively deliver the company's processes and systems.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Legislation ensuring full compliance of Safeguarding, DBS, and all relevant Legislation.
    Personal Specification
    • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining an appearance suitable to represent the business.
    • Effective multitasking, prioritization of a busy and demanding workload, and working towards and within deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and in the spirit of the Company and your position.
    • Self-motivation and target-driven with the ability to work to deadlines.
    • Responsible for getting required outcomes through effective communication.
    • Proactive and commercially astute.
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the education market, including regulated requirements within this market, such as Safeguarding and DBS policy and procedures.
    • Background in working within a sales and customer services environment with an outstanding ability to build customer relationships.
