Pilgrims Hospices seeks a skilled Fundraising Development Manager to support its fundraising ambitions in the east Kent community.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days of corporate fundraising and 2 days of community fundraising. The successful candidate will cultivate and develop business relationships, generating sustainable income through fundraising activities, donations, events, and partnerships.

The postholder will ensure that all fundraising activities are developed and delivered to the highest standards, providing excellent care to supporters and ensuring progression and stewardship through various giving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and develop business relationships with donors and organisations in the east Kent community.
  • Generate sustainable income through fundraising activities, donations, events, and partnerships.
  • Ensure that all fundraising activities are developed and delivered to the highest standards.
  • Provide excellent care to supporters and ensure progression and stewardship through various giving opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of the principles, methods, and management of events and supporter-led fundraising. A broad knowledge of marketing principles and the use of social media to promote fundraising activities is also essential. Good IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, databases, email, and social media, are required.
