Job Description

Pilgrims Hospices provides end-of-life care services across east Kent, focusing on compassionate and expert care for patients and their families. As a Corporate and Community Fundraising Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the charity's fundraising goals by cultivating and developing business relationships and giving contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses and individuals, to secure funding and support for Pilgrims Hospices' fundraising activities.
  2. Design and deliver fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals to engage donors and supporters.
  3. Work closely with the fundraising team to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A good understanding of marketing principles and social media usage for promoting fundraising activities is also essential.

This is a full-time permanent role based at our Fundraising Offices in Canterbury. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 26 days annual leave, free onsite parking, and financial discounts through the Blue Light Card Membership Scheme.
