About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Commercial Vehicles Sales Executive to join our team in Exeter. As a Trainee Commercial Vehicles Sales Executive, you will be responsible for representing our brands, selling a range of commercial vehicles, and ensuring that each customer receives exemplary customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all customers, building genuine rapport to understand their needs and turning conversation into business.
  • Match relevant products to customer needs, presenting applicable features and benefits.
  • Accurately appraise used vehicles offered in part exchange.
  • Organise and carry out professional and proficient demonstrations and test drives.
  • Negotiate a successful close, overcoming any objections through understanding the benefits and features of all products available.
  • Manage the preparation and handing over of sold vehicles to customers.
  • Identify sources of potential customers for your franchise.
  • Carry out prospecting activities on a regular basis with confidence.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are presentable and ready for inspection by customers, including your own company car.
  • Display all vehicles to brand standard with the right price and specification details.
  • Maintain your digital diary and use both our customer relationship and dealership management tools accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all Financial Services Authority (FSA) requirements in the advising, selling, and administration of all insurance products.
