Job Title: Quantum Computing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Computing Expert to join Riverlane Ltd in Cambridge, UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing the world's first Quantum Error Correction (QEC) stack, unlocking the potential of quantum computing.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum technology.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to read and discuss academic papers, identifying critical results that can be scaled up for industrial application.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related field and possess a proven ability to undertake high-quality theoretical or technical work.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement novel methods for error correction in quantum computing systems.

The salary range for this position is £51,000 - £73,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.


Requirements:
  • MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Possess strong knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with running experiments on quantum computers.
