Job Title: Cloud Software Engineer - Quantum Computing Expert

At Quantinuum, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Software Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our software team, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our cloud-based quantum computing platform.

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including a generous pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based software solutions using Python, Rust, and Modern C++
- Collaborate with research teams to integrate software with quantum hardware
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, adhering to industry standards and best practices
- Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of software solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a cloud-based environment
- Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, and Modern C++ programming languages
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, Terraform, and AWS/Azure platforms
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Typescript, and Quantum Computing concepts
- Experience working on large-scale distributed systems
