We are currently working with an established quantum computing company that is expanding its team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Software Engineer to join their cloud platform team, where you will play a key role in shaping their cloud infrastructure and application services.

This is a hybrid position, offering a unique blend of remote and office work. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will have the chance to work collaboratively with Scientific and Quantum Research teams, contributing to the improvement and advancement of their scientific development.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing user-centric projects from concept to implementation, taking full ownership of their projects. You will work closely with the team to drive scientific development forward, leveraging your expertise in developing and deploying cloud software, particularly on AWS and Azure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong scientific background, which can be demonstrated through academic achievements or relevant work experience in scientific research or development. Additionally, you should possess expertise in Python web development, familiarity with frontend technologies (Typescript preferred), and knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar databases. A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also required.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum
