Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
The Quality Control Team Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance of consistent quality standards across our packaging operations. As a leader, you will be responsible for coaching and managing QC auditors, monitoring performance metrics, and addressing issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the monitoring and analysis of key performance metrics, addressing issues and supporting strategic decisions to improve operational effectiveness and quality outcomes.
- Train and coach QC auditors; provide positive feedback to auditors for following the right 'Quality Check' practices as defined.
- Ensure adherence to auditing and quality standards across shifts, providing guidance and support to maintain consistent performance and process integrity.
- Oversee the generation of reports and analysis, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement.
- Leading root cause analyses for errors, you will identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans to reduce error rates.
- Act as a liaison between QC teams and production, ensuring effective cross-functional communication and consistent updates on targets, expectations, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in team management is required.
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Proficient in Gsheet/Excel.
- Confident in collaboration and relationship building in order to liaise with other stakeholders to influence and make decisions.
- Ability to solve problems using your own initiative.
