About the Role
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across a range of healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, focusing on promoting health and independence.
- Work as part of a designated clinical and care team, delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.
- Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professionals.
- Develop your clinical competence, leadership, and reflective practice skills through the Nursing Associate Training Programme and mentorship.
- Work without direct supervision, delivering care independently in line with the individual's defined plan of care, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role.
Person Specification
- Level 2 Maths and English functional skills.
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in the context of the team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development.
- Evidence of time management skills and ability to prioritise.
- Intermediate IT skills.
- Ability to communicate with members of the public and health and care providers.
- Courteous, respectful, and helpful at all times.
- Ability to deal with non-routine and unpredictable nature of the workload and individual patient contact.
- Ability to take part in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities.
