About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Social Worker to lead our Adults City and South Community Team in Cambridgeshire County Council. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for leading on practice and performance development through high-quality supervision and support of staff in line with The Care Act principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex safeguarding situations and provide leadership to the team
  • Work creatively in partnership with others to manage risk and achieve better outcomes for adults

Our Community Teams operate a hybrid model, allowing for part-remote and flexible options available in line with our service needs. Once fully trained, our Social Workers will work from the office up to three days each week.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around £43,530 - £50,674 per annum, depending on experience.
