Job Summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Assistant EMEA to support our team in London.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Accounting EMEA in managing specific allocated entities in Dubai & Europe, focusing on AP, VAT, Travel & Expense billing, Expense voucher administration, and banking and general ledger month end processes.
  • Review and verify approved supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance, ensuring correct coding for posting to Oracle systems.
  • Post invoices to the AP/GL system and prepare payment/wire transfer runs for approval.
  • Review employee expenses to ensure compliance with Company T&E policy and VAT requirements.
  • Collate expense vouchers for onward billing and prepare charge-out information for the US Billing team.
  • Analyze expenses using Concur expense systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely invoice submission and payment.
  • Perform monthly supplier reconciliations and prepare VAT documentation for review by the Management Accountant.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the EMEA Management Accountant as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts department, with expertise in AP/GL.
  • AAT or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Experience with accounting systems, preferably Oracle, and Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices, accounting, and tax terminology.
  • Mathematical, administrative, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
