Senior Maintenance Professional

AWE Plc seeks a seasoned Senior Maintenance Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of maintenance activities within our facilities.

This role requires a deep understanding of safety engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with various teams to identify and address safety concerns, develop and implement safety procedures, and provide training and guidance to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate potential safety risks through regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.

With a salary range of £47,690 - £75,370, dependent on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience, this is an attractive opportunity for professionals seeking a challenging and rewarding role. A 9-day working fortnight and flexible working options are also available.
