Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

Vermelo RPO is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with company safety programs and government regulations.
  2. Develop and implement effective safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  4. Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a health, safety, and environmental role.
  2. NEBOSH or equivalent certification.
  3. Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 safety management systems.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Clean driving license.
