Nursing Home Deputy Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to join our nursing home team in Colchester, Essex. The successful candidate will oversee the supervision of staff and patient care across the facility.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £37,000 per year, reflecting the demands and responsibilities associated with the position.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
  • Recruit and manage new staff members, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
  • Ongoing development and training of the nursing team.
  • Maintain high-quality patient care across the facility.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
  • Registered with the NMC (Nursing Midwifery Council).
  • Passionate about dementia care.
  • Satisfactory references.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A management qualification is desirable.
