About the Role:

  • Work closely with families who have children with learning disabilities, providing support and guidance to help them navigate the complex SEND landscape.
  • Develop opportunities for co-production so that families can be involved in shaping better services and support across the community.
  • Empower families to understand their rights and entitlements through workshops or opportunities which will help them better support their child.

About You:

  • A strong advocate for inclusion with a passion for supporting families and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Experience of working with families who have children with SEND or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of the SEND landscape and local assets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 32 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 35 days with long service plus the ability to buy up to another 10 days via our Holiday Plus scheme.
  • Service related sick pay when 6 month probation is completed.
